Our friends at The East Cut just released some exciting news about Downtown First Thursdays:

We’re thrilled to be the bearers of the wonderful news that Downtown First Thursdays is here to stay! What started as a way to bring life back to our streets has become a downtown staple, and thanks to overwhelming support, the event is extended through December 2025 with exciting new additions. Expect more music, food, art, and even new themed experiences, bringing more energy to our neighborhood each month.

This is a testament to what we already know—when we come together to reimagine public space, our city thrives.

That is wonderful news for the popular venue. New to Downtown First Thursdays? It’s a new San Francisco tradition featuring outdoor bars, dozens of food and shopping vendors, dancing in the streets and amazing local restaurants, museums, and bars to explore.

All the details: First Thursday of the month. From 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm, Rain or Shine! At 2nd Street between Market and Howard
