Life at Jasper puts you in the center of excitement every month. October brings a new season and a variety of must attend events to the City. We’ve rounded up a few must-attend events that include the Blue Angels show, movie nights, fun at the Ferry Building and much more. Check out our top picks and start marking your calendars:

October 1, Taco Tuesday. Head to the Crossing at the East Cut on Tuesdays from 3-6 pm for $3 tacos at Red Rooster and $10 margaritas at The Greyhound Bar.

October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Wellness Wednesday. An hour of yoga during your lunch hour is a great way to get out of your office, listen to soulful tunes, and recharge your energy for the day.

October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Happy Hour Trivia at The Crossing. Test your knowledge every Wednesday of the month at Happy Hour Trivia with Jeff from @SFTrivia.

October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Mahjong Wednesday. Play Mahjong at the Fort Point Beer Garden every Wednesday in September, from 3-6pm on the North Plaza of the Ferry Building.

October 3, Downtown First Thursdays. Grab your friends and head downtown for DFT on Market Street & 2nd Street. Get ready for more live music, food, drag, DJs, free all-ages activities to fill up the night.

October 3, First Thursdays at SFMOMA. From 12 noon–8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, Bay Area residents can enjoy SFMOMA’s galleries filled with lively and inspiring art — for free.

October 5, Bites and Brew Walking Tour. Take a stroll through the East Cut on a Saturday morning and sample coffee and breakfast bites from our local businesses.

October 6, HEAD WEST. Every first Sunday of the month, Head West will bring Bay Area Makers, Crafters, Designers, Artists + Vintage Merchants to the Ferry Building’s beautiful back plaza.

October 7-14, Fleet Week. Join the crowds that come out to the waterfront every year for SF’s Fleet Week to be wowed by the Blue Angels roaring in formation just overhead.

October 9, Dance Outdoors with Rhythm & Motion. Head to Yerba Buena Gardens for a a low-pressure, full-bodied dance workout class that balances the euphoria of a good party with the challenge of learning choreography and movement techniques.

October 10, Navy Band Southwest Woodwind Quintet Performance. U.S. Navy Band Southwest’s Woodwind Quintet band will perform at the Ferry Building as part of San Francisco Fleet Week.

October 10, SFMOMA Rooftop Radio: SFJAZZ. SFMOMA has partnered with SFJAZZ to bring you an unforgettable evening featuring two refreshing local modern jazz bands. Alongside the performances, enjoy an open-air screening of “Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans”, a masterpiece of the silent film era.

October 12, World of Dumplings. The inaugural World of Dumpling event is a free, family-friendly event and will be held at the iconic Rincon Center, just two blocks from the Ferry Building, during Fleet Week.

October 13, BrazilianFestSF. BrazilianFestSF is a series of events taking place at The Crossing in the East Cut neighborhood through October.

October 13, Pickwick Vintage ShowVintage Market. Featuring over 70+ exhibitors from across California, featuring collections of vintage clothing, jewelry, accessories, textiles, findings, and inspiration of all kinds.

October 19, Bites and Brew Walking Tour. Take a stroll through the East Cut on a Saturday morning and sample coffee and breakfast bites from our local businesses.

October 20, SFMOMA + Track & Feels: 5K Run to the Arts. Lace up and run to the arts – a fun 5k run followed by a 5k art tour celebrating creativity, music and sports.

October 20, Foodwise Sunday Supper. Enjoy an abundant walkaround reception and elegant seated four-course dinner at SF’s iconic Ferry Building, showcasing the freshest fall produce.

October 24-27, Ferry Building Mushroom Festival. Experience Friday-night festivities at the Mushroom Masquerade, Saturday cooking demos and a Sunday family fun day.

October 25, T.G.I.F. Movie Night: COCO. Thank goodness it’s Friday and the month’s over. The Crossing at the East Cut hosts movie night on the last Friday of each month through October.

October 26, Dog Days of Summer. Meet fellow dog lovers, brunch with your best friend outdoors, dance at the doggy disco, shop for unique pet products and themed goods, and enjoy the furry fun.

October 27, Trick-or-Treat at the Ferry Building. Celebrate Halloween with a festive Trick-or-Treating event. Enjoy a mushroom scavenger hunt, face painting, spooky crafts, and a live pumpkin carving demo—fun for kids and families with all activities free and open to the public. Costumes encouraged!

Thru November 4, Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. This festival encompasses nearly 100 artistic, cultural and community events through November in Yerba Buena Gardens.
