The heart of the Yerba Buena Arts District is getting another cultural treasure – a world-class museum to showcase the largest collection of Mexican and Latino art in the nation. The Mexican Museum stands on the threshold of a dramatic transformation. It will soon have a permanent home at 706 Mission Street at Third and Mission Streets.  The four-story Mexican Museum’s future home will feature approximately 52,000 net square feet including galleries designated for presentation of the permanent collection, changing exhibitions, an educational center, La Tienda – the museum store, and a restaurant.  You can learn more about The Mexican Museum by visiting their website, Facebook Page or Instagram feed.
