Benu – located at 22 Hawthorne St. – 0.4 miles from Jasper
For that special occasion, one of San Francisco’s three-Michelin-starred jewels is tucked away on the short tree-lined street of Hawthorne. Experience chef Cory Lee’s French- and Asian-inspired cuisine, such as the well-loved lobster coral xiao long bao (Shanghai soup dumplings).

Owner Lalita Souksamlane serves up delicious plates from her homeland of Northeastern Thailand and Laos. Try the fried pork belly with fish sauce caramel, Lao sausage with peanuts and chiles, or the Lao fried rice with minced chicken, basil, and a fried egg. Yum!

Mourad – located at 140 New Montgomery St. – 0.5 miles from Jasper
Chef and owner Mourad Lahlou’s Moroccan heritage is on the menu each night, with servings of raw oysters, kanpachi, duck basteeya, and hand-rolled couscous, often using thematic accents of preserved lemon, olives, and Moroccan spices. Try the la’acha, or family-style dishes; diners can feast on generous portions of whole snapper, lamb shoulder, and chicken, served with four sides.

The Bird – located at 115 New Montgomery St. – 0.5 miles from Jasper
The Bird offers some of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city.  Pair it with a refreshing beer and curly fries for a delicious and satisfying dining experience.
