The Jasper February Agenda
Life at Jasper puts you in the center of excitement every month. February brings a variety of must attend events to the City. We’ve rounded up a few must attend events that include Chinese New Year celebrations, Ferry Building fun, chocolate talk and tasting, and much more. Map out your month here:
February 1, First Thursdays at SFMOMA. From 1–8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, Bay Area residents can enjoy SFMOMA’s galleries filled with lively and inspiring art — for free.
February 1-7, Hearts in SF at the Ferry Building. Designed by over 20 talented artists who donated their time in support of the SFGHF, featuring landmarks and beautiful San Francisco scenes.
February 2, Gnocchi Making. In this fun Ferry Building class, you will learn how to make gnocchi and two fresh sauces from start to finish.
February 8, Love Bites! Celebrate your love of San Francisco with an evening of gourmet bites, wines, music and art activities at the Ferry Building.
February 9-18, SF Beer Week. Featuring more than 30 San Francisco Brewers Guild members, plus dozens more Northern California craft breweries.
February 10, Eli Curtis, Bisou Chocolate. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, stop by the Foodwise Classroom for a chocolate talk and tasting at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
February 14, Valentines’ Dinner + Live Salsa Band and Salsa Lessons. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of delicious food plus the a live salsa band as they serenade you at the Cigar Bar in SF.
February 16, Sip & Paint. Enjoy a fun Sip & Paint event hosted at XICA featuring wine by Surcos Wines and art by Francisco Franco.
February 17, The Art of Sushi Making. Learn the tips and tricks from a professional sushi chef in this highly interactive and hands-on class at the Ferry Building.
February 18, Bachata Sundays. Inessence presents Bachata Sundays: Bachata & salsa class, social dancing, food & drinks.
February 18, In-Person Class: Classic Handmade Pasta. Learn how to make the perfect pasta dough and then transform it into beautiful noodles, Fettuccine or Pappardelle at the Ferry Building.
February 22, Abraham Cruzvillegas Activation at SFMOMA. Much of Cruzvillegas’s work is informed by autoconstrucción.
February 22-March 3, Noise Pop. This huge celebration of independent music, film, and art is a must attend with over 150 bands will play at different venues around the city, such as The Bottom of the Hill, Bimbo’s, and the Great American Music Hall.
February 24, Chinese New Year Grand Parade. Named one of the Top Ten Parades in the World, it’s one of the few remaining night illuminated Parades in North America and the biggest parade celebrating the Lunar New Year outside of Asia.
February 24, Francis Ang, Abacá, with Minh Tsai, Hodo. Stop by the Foodwise Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.
February 24, Soaring Dragon, Rising Phoenix. Enjoy dances celebrating the Lunar New Year, a year filled with adventure, growth, and success at Salesforce Park Transit Center Main Plaza.
February 27-28, Madonna – The Celebration Tour. With the concert series being a retrospective celebration of her iconic career, The Celebration Tour’s setlist unsurprisingly includes plenty of Madonna’s timeless hits.
February 28, Garden Tour. San Francisco Botanical Garden offers urban gardening tips to improve the environment, using the park as its classroom at Salesforce Transit Center Main Plaza.
Thru March 11, Cirque du Soleil: Kooza. Kooza – the incredible show from the one and only Cirque du Soleil — will be Under the Big Top in Lot A by Oracle Park this winter.
Mondays, ZUMBA®. High energy, flawlessly taught, easily learned, wildly addictive ZUMBA® has taken the world by storm. FITNESS SF brings you top-notch ZUMBA® instructors to TJPA’s Salesforce Park: Main Plaza.
Wednesdays, Rooftop Jazz at Salesforce Park. A selection of the finest Bay Area Jazz musicians perform at this weekly series curated by Jazz in the Neighborhood and the Bay Area Jazz Mobile.
