Life at Jasper puts you in the center of excitement every month. December brings a variety of must attend events to the City. We’ve rounded up a few holidays events that include shows, fairs, patio pop-ups, lights tour, cookie decorating, ice skating, and much more. Map out your month here:

Thru January 1, Fairmont Hotel’s 2-story gingerbread house.One of San Francisco’s most celebrated holiday installations is the two-story gingerbread house at the Fairmont Hotel. The fascinating creation is 22 feet tall, composed of thousands of gingerbread bricks and gallons of royal icing.

December 1-10, Let’s Glow SF. Downtown SF is once again pulling out all the stops with the largest holiday projection mapping display in the United States.

December 1-16, Creativity Explored Holiday Pop-Up. This holiday season, visit Creativity Explored at the Ferry Building for their 3rd Annual Holiday Art Pop-Up Shop.

December 1-16, Holiday Patio Pop-Up. Head to the Ferry Building as Rye on the Road and Peaches Patties will be serving a festive menu of holiday cocktails and snacks on the patio along the Embarcadero.

December 1-27, Pizza Nights at Boulettes. Don’t miss this limited series! Experience some of the best pizza in SF at Boulettes on Wednesday nights. Each Wednesday will feature a different special pizza, in addition to a more regular menu of Boulettes pizzas.

December 1-17, Great Dickens Fair. Enter the winding lanes of Victorian London and immerse yourself in a world of music halls, theatres, pubs, dance parties, and charming shops with hand-made holiday treasures.

December 3, Holiday Craft Making. Enjoy a craft break as you shop at the Ferry Building this holiday season! On select Sundays, enjoy new activities, including ornaments, upcycled art, terrariums, gift tags and more.

December 3, Santa Visits the Ferry Building. Santa visits the Ferry Building for a jolly good time, bringing holiday cheer and festive fun for all to enjoy.

December 3, HEAD WEST, Every first Sunday of the month Head West will bring Bay Area Makers, Crafters, Designers, Artists + Vintage Merchants to the Ferry Building’s beautiful back plaza.

December 7, First Thursdays at SFMOMA. From 1–8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, Bay Area residents can enjoy SFMOMA’s galleries filled with lively and inspiring art — for free.

December 7, Plant’d Holiday Shop. Get ready to shop till you drop at the Plant’d Holiday Shop, where you’ll find the coolest vendors and plants.

December 8, Holiday Nights, Sights & Lights Tour. Experience the Holidays San Francisco Style. aboard a Motorized Cable Car all decked out in holiday decor for an unforgettable evening of holiday magic.

December 9, Breakfast With Santa. Bring the family for breakfast and a special visit with Santa overlooking the city skyline of San Francisco at the Westin.

December 9, Pop-Ups on the Plaza: Black Holiday Market. Support local Black-owned businesses and get ready for the holiday season with a day of food and crafts at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

December 9, Trellis Holiday Market. Shop at an indoor holiday market featuring local vendors, artists, and food in Trellis’s beautiful SOMA space.

December 13, Holiday Joy Cookie Decorating Class. Indulge your sweet tooth and embrace your creativity while learning a new skill that is sure to impress your friends and family at the Ferry Building.

December 15, Reindeer Games. Bring your family to this delightful holiday show filled with stunning circus, live music, and interactive games at Yerba Buena Gardens.

December 18, Winter Wonderland Ice Skating & DJ Skate Party. Glide into the holiday season at Winter Wonderland Ice Skating in Thrive City.

December 28, Bootcamp. A relentless, time-efficient, action-packed workout that will bring heart-thumping drills & total body challenges. Provided by FITNESS SF at Salesforce Transit Center Main Plaza.

December 31, 2024 SF New Year’s Eve Under the Fireworks Cruise. Ring in the New Year in style, 2 levels of music, open bar, mix & mingle food menu, amazing firework skyline & under the bridge views in SF.

December 31, Winter Wonderland Kwanzaa & Noon Year’s Eve. Celebrate the culture of Kwanzaa and ring in 2024 at Thrive City’s Winter Wonderland Kwanzaa and Noon Year’s Eve celebration.

Thru January 15, Union Square Ice Skating. San Francisco’s favorite outdoor rink is back with daily ice skating for all ages and special events scheduled throughout the holiday season.

Thru January 28, Pacita Abad at SFMOMA. The wide-ranging exhibition features more than 40 daring works including her signature trapunto paintings—stuffed, quilted canvases adorned with materials and methods that Abad investigated during her lifetime.
