October has landed in the City and Jasper puts you in the center of excitement. We’ve rounded up a few must attend events this season around the area that include fall fun at the Ferry Building, Salesforce Park tours, culinary treats and much more. Map out your season here:

October 3-11, Fleet Week. SF Fleet Week celebrates the rich naval tradition in the Bay Area, honors the men and women serving in today’s armed forces and facilitates annual disaster preparedness training with the Navy, Marines and local first responders.

October 15-24, Eat Drink SF. Over the course of ten days, Eat Drink SF will feature a series of events at local restaurants in celebration of San Francisco’s culinary scene.

October 17, CUESA’s Sunday Supper. Join CUESA, the nonprofit that runs the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market for a lavish four-course feast by the city’s top chefs, virtual gala, and online auction. Proceeds support CUESA’s education and food access programs.

October 22, Local Kitchen Grand Opening. Local Kitchen is under new management and hosting a Grand Opening with passed apps, locally sourced beer, wine and cocktails, a free raffle drawing, games, music, photobooth and more.

October 23-24, Lumpiapalooza. Indulge in a variety of savory classics like garlic, kare kare, and chicken afritada lumpia. Get your roll with a rolling demo, manifest your love for lumpia in the ultimate lumpia-eating contest, bust a move (or two) to bangin’ DJ’d beats, challenge your buds to giant games, take your stab at fun contests, strike a pose in front of the photo booth, and more.

October 31, Ferry Building Halloween Family Day. Enjoy a scavenger hunt throughout the Ferry Building Marketplace, pumpkin decorating, flying ghost-making, and other Halloween crafts. Win prizes by entering in a costume contest for both people… and pets! And finally, watch an artistic display of live pumpkin carving and circus performers on our outdoor plazas while you enjoy Ferry Building food and drinks. 

November 13, Tree Tours. Join Mike Sullivan, author of The Trees of San Francisco, in a walking tour highlighting the trees of Salesforce Park from 10-11am. Meet at Main Plaza.

November 17, Flower Power Happy Hour. Relax and recharge with this hands-on wreath making workshop at the iconic Ferry Building where you can let your soul blossom.

November 20-21, Family Fun Festival. Local makers,live music, food trucks and more at the pet friendly Spark Social.

November 21, Fog City Flea at the Ferry Building. Shop a curated market of makers and merchants from San Francisco, the Bay Area + beyond on the first floor of the marketplace by the South entrance on Sundays.
