October has landed in the City and Jasper puts you in the center of excitement. We’ve rounded up a few must attend events this month around the area that include plenty of opportunities to spy the Blue Angels in the sky, peruse the Ferry Building, cheer on the Warriors in the new Chase Center and much more. October 2, Wellness Wednesdays at The Ferry Building. Join the Ferry Building and MINDBODY for a FREE wellness series every Wednesday from 5pm to 6pm.

October 3, Flow & Jo. Join 111 Minna Gallery for our monthly complimentary 60-minute vinyasa flow yoga class and hot cup of joe courtesy of Red Door Coffee.

October 4, WhiskyFest San Francisco. Taste from a selection of 350 whiskeys, and learn from master distillers and blenders.

October 5, Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers. Head to the Chase Center to cheer on the Warriors in their new stadium.

October 6, CUESA’s Sunday Supper: A Farm to City Feast. 45 Top Chefs • 4-Course Feast • 1 Unforgettable Evening

October 6- 14, Fleet Week. Navy ships at Marina Green, a parade of ships under the Golden Gate Bridge, air shows with the Blue Angels, and military dogs.

October 6, 13, 20, 27, Fog City Flea at The Ferry Building. Every Sunday through November 17 from 10am to 5pm the Ferry Building will host a curated market of makers & merchants.

Thru October 6, Concerts in the park. Golden Gate Park Band plays a variety of music (classical, marches, opera, swing, and show tunes) at Spreckels Temple of Music in Golden Gate Park.

October 10, Science Hack Day. Designers, technologists, scientists and anyone who is excited about making things with science are welcome to attend.

October 10, 16th Annual Wine & Spirits Magazine’s Top 100 Tasting. Join Wine & Spirits Magazine as we celebrate the Top 100 Wineries of the Year at City View at METREON.

October 11, Salesforce Park Salsa Dance Party. Free Salsa lesson and live Salsa music every 2nd Friday from 6-8pm in the park, at the Main Plaza.

October 11, Oakland Meets San Francisco Food Tour. On this tour, you have the option of starting your journey in either San Francisco at the Ferry Building or Oakland.

October 12, Festival under the stars. See dozens of music, dance, and art performances at Yerba Buena Night around Yerba Buena Lane.

October 12, Annual Sails & Tales. The sail will be 5 hours right in the middle of the Fleet Week Air Show, setting sail from Giant’s Stadium.

October 19, San Francisco’s Wharf Fest. Live music, street performers, and craft and food vendors on the Embarcadero (from Taylor to Powell).

October 23, Live @ 5: After Work Music. Live after-work jams from seasoned Bay Area musicians curated by People in Plazas.

October 24, Opening Weekend of Soft Power. An exhibition spanning two floors of SFMOMA about the ways in which 20 artists deploy art to explore their roles as citizens and social actors.

October 24, Soundwave Festival 9: Dialects. DIALECTS at the CJM draws from sounds, songs, and stories about migration and displacement, both human and nonhuman.

October 26, Lumpia Palooza. Indulge in a variety of savory classics like garlic, kare kare, and chicken afritada lumpia at SoMa StrEat Food Park.
