Take a Ride on a Ford GoBike
With the freshly-painted bike lanes on 2nd Street, now is the perfect time to take a spin on a Ford GoBike. Ford GoBike is the Bay Area’s new bike share system, with thousands of public bikes for use across San Francisco, East Bay and San Jose. The bike share program is a fun and affordable way to get around town.
- Join. Become an Annual Member or buy a Single Ride or Access Pass to use the system.
- Unlock. Pick up a bike in San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Emeryville or San Jose. Use the mobile app or your Clipper card to unlock any bike in the system. Find a bike or head to these nearby stations: 1st St at Folsom St or 2nd St at Folsom St.
- Ride. Take as many rides as you want while your pass or membership is active. Bike share is great for quick trips around town or leisurely rides through the park. Use it to commute to work or school, run errands and explore the city.
- Return. Dock your bike at any station and wait for the green light to make sure it’s locked.
Mobile App. The Ford GoBike mobile app for iPhone or Android unlocks a world of features at your fingertips. Here are a few ways to use the app: Find bikes & docks, purchase a pass, see your ride stats, and get ride notifications.
