Fun at the Ferry Building
Celebrate the season at the world-class San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace with oils perfect for baking, fine artisan chocolates in beautiful packaging, local handmade soap, fresh finds at the farmers market and a plethora of foodie options. Just a mile from your door at Jasper, the Ferry Building is the center of a transit hub that connects all of San Francisco’s neighborhoods and the surrounding bay communities. The marketplace is accessible by MUNI, BART and Ferry Boat. The historic trolley cars stop directly in front of the Ferry Building.
From farmers markets and cooking demonstrations to seasonal tastings and cocktail nights, you’ll find experiences and events to keep you entertained during the sunny San Francisco afternoons.
The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. The farmers market is open three days a week: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the smaller markets occupy the front of the building along the Embarcadero; on Saturdays, the much larger market is held both in front of the Ferry Building and on the rear plaza overlooking the Bay.
