Join the Santa Hat Run on December 1! Run Wild San(ta) Francisco 5K and kids dash includes a Santa hat to wear, a race-day T-shirt, a finish-line award, a timing chip, and a post-race expo at Crissy Field.

Save the Date on December 8 from 6:00-8:00pm., The East Cut Movie Night is coming to the park! The East Cut CBD announced that a winter holidays movie night will be hosted in December at Emerald Park.

Take in the Parol Lantern Festival and Parade in SoMa Pilipinas on December 8. The Stroll is highlighted by the participants’ brightly-lit and creatively designed lanterns.

Eat, drink and shop at the two day Sunset Holiday Mercantile on December 8 – 9, featuring 100+ local makers, merchants, artists, food artisans, live entertainment, beer and wine tasting, and more.

Don’t miss out! A ticket to San Francisco Great Santa Run on December 9 includes a Santa suit, a commemorative holiday medal and a 5K/1-mile run at Crissy Field.

‘Tis the season to stuff those stockings, shop locally, and enjoy the festivities! Cal Academy of Science NightLife’s annual holiday bazaar returns on December 13, featuring a merry marketplace of gift-worthy treasures from dozens of local makers and merchants, all curated by SF Bazaar.

Sugarplums won’t be the only dancing visions you dream of this holiday season after you see Smuin Contemporary Ballet’s The Christmas Ballet. Yerba Buena Center from December 13-24.

Schoolyard to Market is back at CUESA’s farmers markets for the fall season! December 15, Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, SF (8 am to 2 pm): The Academy @ McAteer students will be selling their veggies, herbs, and seed packs.

National Sangria Day! Wine Not? Sleigh the holiday season with bottomless sangria on Thursday, December 20 from 5-9pm at SPARK.

Ring in the New Year at Osha Thai – Embarcadero! December 31. This year’s event theme is One Night In Thailand.

Illuminate SF Festival of Light features dozens of dramatic glowing art installations in different neighborhoods with lights festivals, guided tours, and self-guided walks, through Jan. 1, 2019. 

See a life-sized Gingerbread House made of thousands of homemade gingerbread bricks and tons of icing and candy in the lobby of the Fairmont San Francisco hotel, through January 1, 2019. 

Stop by the lobby of the Westin to admire the St. Francis Holiday Display, featuring two castles with circular towers, individual rooms, and illuminated windows, surrounded by holiday sugar cakes, through January 2, 2019. 

Glide along the ice at the Embarcadero Ice Rink through January 3, 2019. 

The Transcendence Art Show is in conjunction with The East Cut Fridays running through January 31, 2019.

Cirque du Soleil returns to the San Francisco Bay Area with VOLTA, a captivating voyage of discovery and running through Sunday, February 3, 2019.
