Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards 2016: These are the residential winners
We received dozens of nominations for new residential projects for our annual Bay Area Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards.
Of the 34 winners in this year’s awards, seven were housing projects. These new apartments and condos — both affordable and market-rate — were completed in 2015 and span San Francisco, the Peninsula and the East Bay. They stood out for many reasons. Tishman Speyer’s Lumina was notable for its size, ambition and massive investment.
Crescent Height’s Jasper brought apartments to new heights of luxury. Signature’s Hive and Madison Park Financial’s 3900 Adeline were the only two major market-rate projects completed in Oakland last year.
Mid-Pen’s Half Moon Village provides services on-site for its affordable senior units while TNDC and Tishman Speyer’s 1400 Mission is one of the few for-sale affordable projects in San Francisco.
We’ll be unveiling the office, land, R&D and other winners in slideshows throughout the week, and we’ll be celebrating these deals and projects — and the people behind them — at a sold-out event on Wednesday, March 23, at the Intercontinental San Francisco.
