SF Open Studios is an annual, month-long art event in October and November that showcases over 800 emerging and established San Francisco artists in their studios. Show some local love on October 31-November 1 and November 7-8. You may just find the perfect piece for your new apartment wall.

Get into the seasonal spirit. The annual Día de los Muertos Exhibition at SOMArts Cultural Center , just 2 miles away, offers one of the most internationally diverse Día de los Muertos celebrations in the United States, featuring over 80 participating artists and running through November 7th.

Schoolyard to Market returns to the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market for the fall season! Local high school students are bringing their school garden produce to market. Support garden-based learning and edible education by shopping at the Schoolyard to Market booth on the following Saturdays: November 14: June Jordan School for Equity will be selling eggs, herb pots, cut flower bouquets, veggies, and herbs. November 21: The Academy of Arts and Sciences will be selling veggies and herbs.

The Color Run is coming to nearby AT&T Park on Saturday, November 15th! Also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, The Color Run is a unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality. Less about your 10-minute-mile and more about having the time of your life, The Color Run is a five-kilometer, un-timed race in which thousands of participants are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. The Color Run course will take you down onto the warning track of AT&T Park! That’s right… field level… you don’t want to miss this!

The Embarcadero Center is brightening the holidays this year with the 29th Annual Building Lighting Ceremony & Carnival on November 20 from 4-7pm. Bring your holiday spirit to this must attend event of the season that’s perfect to share with the family with a host of fun activities for the kids; including carnival games, face painting, cookie decorating, interactive arts and crafts booths, balloon twisters, musical performances, and more!

Grab your tickets for the Nutcracker and make it a Holiday Date Night with two glasses of Champagne and a dessert to share.
