#45ReasonsRinconHill: The First 15

Whether you are moving just across town or to San Francisco from afar, you’ve landed in the spot that talks about all the stuff that makes Jasper a heck of a place to call home: The designers and team members behind the building; the cafes, restaurants, galleries and parks that surround us. And the scenes and events that shape our community.

Join us as we journey through the neighborhood and share #45ReasonsRinconHill, a weekly series of fun destinations and spotlights in the place we call home. Watch for the hashtag every weekend on Facebook, where we’ll share a new tip to make the most of your lifestyle at Jasper. Here’s a sneak peek at the first 15 of #45ReasonsRinconHill:

#1 Get your brunch on at Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant with bottomless Mimosas or a zesty bacon Bloody Mary.

#2 Cozy up with a great book. Two of San Francisco’s best Independent Bookstores (Book Passage and Chronicle Books) are just minutes from Jasper’s front door.

#3 Enjoy free hand-picked performances that include music, dance, theater, cultural events & children’s shows in the open air with open seating minutes away at the Yerba Buena Garden Festival, May–Oct.

#4 Dine on Dim Sum at nearby Yank Sing. Eater SF says their soup dumplings are off the chain, freshly flavorful and perfectly thin-skinned naming them among the 25 Most Iconic Dishes of San Francisco.

#5 Grab your pooch and head to Rincon Hill Dog Park to enjoy a doggie date with your canine companion.

#6 Stroll down Willie Mays Plaza and catch a ballgame on the bay at AT&T Park. Download the AT&T Park App to unlock offers and get exclusive in-game features.

#7 Shop ‘til you drop at Westfield San Francisco Centre and have your car ready for you with Text & Go valet parking. You can also order to-go food while you shop with the Dine on Time app.

#8 Visit the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market on Saturdays from 8am-2pm for fresh produce and prime people watching.

#9 Learn everything you always wanted to know about cheese at The Cheese School of San Francisco, just ten minutes from Jasper.

#10 Skip your oatmeal and head to Humphry Slocombe at the SF Ferry Building where you can dive into the iconic flavor – Secret Breakfast Cereal.

#11 Get green relief amid landscaped lawns, flowering trees, serene waterfalls and colorful gardens at Yerba Buena Gardens.

#12 Belly up to the 53B Wine Club and enjoy special membership perks like complimentary VIP tastings, wine purchase discounts and more.

#13 Stroll 2 miles along the Embarcadero Art Ribbon’s backlit glass blocks on a brisk evening with hot cocoa in hand. A collaboration between architects Vito Acconci, Stanley Saitowitz and Barbara Staufacher, this is one of the first projects to bring design cohesion to the Embarcadero.

#14 Experience the elegance and tradition of Afternoon Tea in San Francisco at the historic Palace Hotel complete with finger sandwiches and scones. You won’t travel far to be Queen for the day.

#15 Let the baristas at Fearless brew up craft coffee for your morning caffeine fix. Add a Quinoa bowl and you’re set to start your day!

The other parts of our website — the map, the lists of features and finishes, and all those floor plans — that’s stuff you definitely need to know. But return here time and again to discover bits and pieces that complete our story. Because life is pretty interesting at 400 feet.
